Role Overview

As a Robotic Process Automation Developer at Lakeside Book Company, I design and deploy end-to-end UiPath automations that eliminate repetitive manual workflows across production reporting, vendor communications, and data distribution. By replacing multi-step human processes with scheduled, unattended bots, I reduced task completion time by 85% — from 30–45 minutes down to under 5 minutes — saving the business 15+ hours of manual work every week.

Impact

85% Time Reduction

Processes that previously took 30–45 minutes per run now complete in under 5 minutes with zero manual intervention.

15+ Hours Saved Weekly

Across all deployed automations, the team reclaims over 15 hours of productive time every week.

7+ Bots in Production

A suite of daily and hourly bots running before business hours, ensuring data and reports are ready at the start of each shift.

Late Press Titles Report

A fully automated reporting pipeline that monitors an email inbox for a daily production data extract, applies business logic to filter out irrelevant records (future ship dates and on-hold jobs), consolidates duplicate entries by summing remaining hours, and produces a formatted, pivot-ready Excel report — all delivered to production stakeholders before the workday begins.

Vendor Management  ·  Scheduled

MVP1 PO Follow-Ups

Automates the entire purchase order follow-up workflow — from logging into a web-based plant management system and pulling an overdue PO line items report, to grouping results by vendor, looking up contact emails, and dispatching personalized follow-up emails with vendor-specific Excel attachments. Handles edge cases where vendor contact data is missing by notifying plant contacts directly, ensuring no vendor falls through the cracks.

LogPro Reports – Dispatcher & Performer

A scalable two-bot architecture built on UiPath's ReFramework with Orchestrator queues. The Dispatcher reads a Google Sheet config to determine which of 17 billing and logistics report types to run, and calculates dynamic date ranges (Prior Day, Month-to-Date, Prior Week, and custom work day logic). The Performer processes each queue item by connecting to a legacy AS400 terminal, selecting the correct report, and routing outputs to the right recipients — with full transaction-level error handling and automated failure alerts.
